Where does the name “Zheti-Agash” come from?

It means “Seven trees” in Kazakh and it refers to a Kazakh tradition. Actually for Nomads in the dry Central Asian steppes, a group of trees meant an oasis with water, shelter, fresh grass and rest. So, it is a place where women gain new strength to make a fresh start. “Zheti-Agash” aims at being this kind of place for women in need.

Furthermore, the oak tree symbolizes strength, courage, beauty and life. The deep roots in the ground support the tree from falling, nurturing the trunk and branches. The green leaves show life as a crowning glory. The oak tree supplies fruits for themselves and others.
