Irina is a middle-aged woman, who came to the Halfway-House in November 2013. She was released from prison and had no relatives to live with.
She was almost blind, but through recent cataract surgery her vision in one eye was partly restored. She will need additional surgery to receive full vision.
In the Halfway-House, she makes a contribution through helping with the daily housework.
